Cruz del Chaco Foundation possess legal status, approved by the decree Nº 4229 in 1.999, given by the President of Paraguay.

The name of our Foundation, “Cruz del Chaco”, was inspired by the Founder Members, due to some of them having known what happened during the Chaco War, that took place between 1932 and 1935. These experiences were not only told by the very same soldiers who participate in the War, but also by normal people whose lives were impacted. It was a War both cruel and violent, between Paraguay and Bolivia, which resulted in many deads, from both sides in every battlefield.

But with courage and heroism, both from soldiers and all the Paraguayans, this hostility stopped, and victory was finally a reality.

 

With the impulse, unity, effort and will of every citizen, especially those born in our beautiful country, we managed to be the first in American, and maybe Worldwide history to achieve this type of success.

 

This unbreakable and patriotic Paraguayan spirit inspired us because our ancestors had understood during the war, that only with unity and structured work goals could be achieved. First, it was the war, but later all the obstacles our beloved nation had to face.

 

These records motivated us to choose our Foundations’ name, as a reminder of our people's strength, allowing us to conquer every difficulty, which later results in major benefits for our country’s population.
